dark clouds by the light of art

Dark clouds reflect in a calm puddle.
I have been updating my ebooks to add Alt Text descriptions to all images, to make my books more accessible for all readers. The creative process, and even the technical hours of formatting, keep my mind off of the mutant.* The mere mention of It causes a rippling effect of unpleasant thoughts and feelings that I cannot turn off.

So I watch these anxieties float by like dark clouds in my mind with occasional rumblings and lightning jolts.

I love taking puddle pictures. I should go out for a walk at the college campus across the street and see the puddles.

They often set art projects along the outside of their Arts building. It's a nice surprise to find some students' artwork.

I should leave a note of thanks and tell them how much their artwork contributes smiles to the neighbors who walk around the campus for exercise.
Art projects at nearby community college.
More art at the college.

It was that easy to change my frame of mind and mood.

I say that with surprise. I surprised myself.

But I really should get dressed to go out and walk around the campus before it gets dark.  It is now 4:15 p.m.

I'm going, Dave... Dave? Dave? I'm really going now.

Before I go, let me post the link to my new Books list:
